NTA-1 Geology of Southeast Asia

Network Training Activity 1:  An introduction to the Geology of Southeast Asia.

ESRs at RHULGIS Workshop

July 4-9, 2010

Royal Holloway, University of London

This activity is now complete. Nine Early Stage Researchers traveled to suburban London and were rewarded with a three-day intensive introduction to the geology of Southeast Asia by Professor Robert Hall, Director of the Southeast Asian Research Group at Royal Holloway University of London. Prof. Hall also presented a one-day introduction to visualising geographic data using GIS with practical examples drawn from the area to be studied by THROUGHFLOW. Other throughflow staff joined the group later in the week for the chance to meet the ESRs and in many cases one another for the first time, and join the network board meetings.

The programme is available to download, or see a list of presentations and other documents associated with the event.
