Tanjung Domaring

After driving from Tanjung Redeb with some stops along the road, for example to discover that a stretch of 10 km of (Jurassic- Early Createceous) basement was exposed where it was supposed to be Oligocene-Miocene limestones, we arrived in Talisayan. We had a brief look around and found this coastal section in Late Miocene-Pliocene limestones. Further northeast we discovered some Early Miocene (?Te5) deposits that we interpreted as an interior platform environment, but these were extremely recristalised and poor in fossils.
