It Sure is Hot on the Equator...

On our way back to Samarinda from Bontang, Wout, Bob, Alex,
Icha and I stopped at the equator where we were warmly greeted by a small army
of children. While posing for our picture on the “official line” there was one
thing we all agreed on: at 36C (97F), 85% humidity and the intense equatorial sun,
it was “sangat panas” (very hot). With
conditions like that, it’s always nice to cool off and replenish your
electrolytes with fresh-off-the-tree coconut water.
